Making a Purchase
We want your shopping experience at Baul Louie Designs to be as easy as possible, so we have implemented the PayPal ordering and payment system. Here's how it works:
1. Find the items you want, and add them to your cart using the "Add To Cart" button. This does not commit you to buying; it just puts things in one convenient shopping cart for you.
2. To review the items in your cart at any time, click the "View Cart" button at the upper left corner. You may add or delete items, or change quantities in your order at any time. You may also view your shipping and handling charges.
3. When you are ready to make a purchase, review the items you have selected by clicking the "View Cart" button. Once you have verified the items in your cart, click the "Checkout" button.
4. At the Checkout page, you will be able to view sales tax charges, if any.
5. Provide the information requested (credit card information, billing address, etc.) on the Checkout page, and follow instructions to complete the order. You do not have to have or create a PayPal account to order from us.
6. Upon verification of your credit card payment, we will send you an order confirmation email. We will send you a second email when your order has shipped.

What is PayPal?
All online transactions at Baul Louie Designs are powered by PayPal, a secure and trusted payment network owned by eBay. You do not have to have or create a PayPal account to make purchases on our site. PayPal allows businesses like ours to securely and conveniently receive payments online from customers like you. Secure Ordering
The safety and security of your online credit card transactions is very important to us. All online transactions at Baul Louie Designs are powered by PayPal. All information that you submit, including your name, address and credit card number, will be encrypted so that it cannot be intercepted as the information travels over the Internet. Sales Tax
We collect tax of 4.712% only for orders shipped within Hawaii. This rate is applied to merchandise only, not to shipping and handling. We do not collect sales tax for orders shipped to any other state.

Shipping & Handling
FREE SHIPPING on all U.S. orders over $200!
Or just $7.95 flat rate shipping on orders under $200!
Domestic Shipping
Apparel and accessories orders are custom hand-painted to order, and usually shipped out within a week of your order date. Please allow 7 to 10 business days from your order date for delivery, or longer for larger orders or during busy times. If multiple shipments are necessary, all shipping & handling charges will only be applied to the first of these shipments.
Paintings are shipped unframed and rolled in a special shipping tube within 5 business days of your order date. Please allow 7 to 10 business days for delivery or longer during busy times.
International Shipping
If you live outside of the United States, you will not be able to place an order on this site. Instead, please contact us at help[at]baullouie[dot]com to make special shipping arrangements.

Returns & Exchanges
Items in their original condition may be returned or exchanged by mail within 30 days of the order date. No returns or exchanges will be given on used, dirtied, or damaged items, or items not accompanied by a return/exchange slip. Please note there is a $15 handling fee for each painting returned, but no fee for apparel returns. We do not reimburse original shipping charges, or shipping charges incurred on return packages. We do, however, ship exchanges to you at no additional shipping cost. Your refund will be issued once we receive your return package. We will not be responsible for refunds if your return package is lost in the mail, so we recommend that you insure your return package and/or obtain reasonable proof of shipment.
Each package you receive is accompanied by a shipping invoice with a return/exchange slip attached. Below are instructions on how to request a return or exchange:
1. Detach the top portion of this form and keep it for your records.
2. Check refund or exchange. Refunds are made to the original form of payment via PayPal. Exchanges will be sent to you at your original shipping address.
3. Circle the items you are returning, and fill in the quantity returned, price, and reason for return.
4. If exchanging, fill in the new item(s) you would like in the Exchange grid.
5. IMPORTANT: Provide us with the exact email address you used when you placed the original order. This address is linked to your PayPal account or transaction, and we need it to ensure that you receive your refund, or to bill you for any excess charges (e.g., if your exchange total exceeds your return amount, or if you return a painting). If there are excess charges, we will notify you and bill you for them via this email address. We must receive your full payment for these excess charges prior to mailing your exchange.
6. Pack your return or exchange neatly and include the Return/Exchange Slip. Ship to the address listed below. Packages must be returned prepaid; we cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.
7. Notification of refund or billing of excess charges will be sent to your email.

Custom Orders
Our beautiful, classic hand-painted designs look great on just about any of your favorite items!
To place a custom order, including large, wholesale, or international orders, you may use our Fax/Mail Order Form, email us at help[at]baullouie[dot]com, or call or fax us at (815) 361-7531.
Let us know what kind of "canvas" you would like us to paint on, and which design you would like (choose from the designs featured in our Apparel section). We sometimes accomodate requests for different designs, such as your favorite tropical flower or a variation on one of our existing designs. We will then contact you to provide pricing and instructions on how to mail us your personal canvas, which may be a pillowcase, a tote bag, a shirt, a pair jeans, wedding favors, baby clothes, or just about anything else!
